Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend the one-way restriction on Ham Lane, Bishop Sutton to construction vehicles only, from its junction with Bonhill Lane/Hollowbrook Lane extending south to the entrance of the pumping station, next to the property known as The Hollies.

Temporary traffic signals will be installed on Ham Lane at the entrance to the pumping station. These signals will normally show green for all traffic travelling northbound (from the A368 towards Bonhill Lane/Hollowbrook Lane).

When a construction vehicle needs to access the pumping station, the temporary signals will turn red to stop northbound traffic. At the same time, the signals at the Bonhill Lane/Hollowbrook Lane junction will change to green, allowing the construction vehicle to enter Ham Lane and travel southbound to the pumping station.

Once the construction vehicle has passed, the signals will return to their normal operation.

The no-entry restriction shall be suspended to construction vehicles only on Ham Lane, Bishop Sutton from its junction with Bonhill Lane/Hollowbrook Lane.
