Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:
• Eastbourne Avenue, Larkhall, Bath from its junction with Bay Tree Road extending west to its junction with Fairfield Road. USRN: 47961511.
• Fairfeld Road, Fairfield Park, Bath from its junction with Croft Road extending south to its junction with Tyning Lane. USRN: 47919433.
• Camden Road, Beacon Hill, Bath from its junction with Frankley Buildings extending north east to its junction with Fairfield Road. USRN: 47900404.
• Tyning Lane, Fairfield Park, Bath from its junction with Frankley Buildings extending north to its junction with Fairfield Road. USRN: 47901397.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas main upgrade works from the 25th October 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for NINE DAYS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Croft Road – Bay Tree Road – Claremont Road – St Saviour’s Road – St Saviour’s Way – A4 London Road – Snow Hill – Frankley Buildings – Vice versa.
