Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a one-way restriction in that length of Connection Road, Twerton, Bath from its junction with High Street / How Hill extending north to its junction with A36 Lower Bristol Road. Traffic will only be able to travel in a northbound direction. Traffic coming from the direction of A36 Lower Bristol Road will need to follow the diversion.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to clear 2 x blockages in the carriageway from the 5th May 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE DAYS.
