Notice is hereby given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the following roads:-
(a) To temporarily close Milsom Street, Bath for its entire length;
(b) To temporarily close New Bond Street, Bath for its entire length;
(c) To temporarily close Quiet Street, Bath for its entire length;
(d) To temporarily close Green Street, Bath for its entire length;
(e) To temporarily suspend any current provisions to load, wait or park on the following lengths of road:
1) Quiet Street for its entire length.
2) Milsom Street for its entire length
3) New Bond Street for its entire length
(f) Bollards to be removed at Beauford Square to allow vehicles to exit the area onto Monmouth Street.
The order is required to facilitate the holding of Bath Spring Fayre, from 12.00hrs on Thursday 8th May 2025 until 23:59hrs on Sunday 11th May 2025.
Road closures/diversion will only be in operation when signs are in operation.
Diversion for vehicles entering the area via John Street: John Street – Queen Street – Trim Street – Beauford Square – Princes Street – Monmouth Street.
