Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:
• B3355 Winterfield Road, Paulton from its junction with Alexandra Park extending north west to its junction with Ham Lane. USRN: 47918098.
• B3355 High Street, Paulton from its junction with Ham Lane extending north west to its junction with Barton Well. USRN: 47917698.
• Ham Lane, Paulton from its junction with the B3355 extending east to its junction with Ham Grove. USRN: 47916892.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out poleing and civil works for laying approx. 7 metres of duct from the 20th October 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FOUR NIGHTS between 19:00 – 06:00hrs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3355 High Street / Winterfield Road: B3355 (remainder) – A362 – A37 – A39 – B3355 – Vice versa.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ham Lane: Ham Lane (remainder) – Britten’s Hill – Bath Road – High Street – B3355 – Vice versa.
