Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of A3039 Northgate Street, City Centre, Bath. The closure will start on High Street, at the traffic lights, where the one-way section heads north onto Northgate Street and the closure will continue north to the bottom of Walcot Street. Traffic will still be able to exit New Bond Street onto Broad Street. Traffic heading south on Walcot Street will be able to turn onto Broad Street. Traffic exiting Upper Borough Walls will still be able to exit right onto Bridge Street.

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
