NOTICE is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order to exercise its powers conferred by section 90 of The Highways Act 1980, for the installation of a road humps in the roads as specified below: 

SCHEDULE 1 

Road

Lyme Gardens, Newbridge, Bath. 

 

Lyme Road, Newbridge, Bath.  

 

Charmouth Road, Newbridge, Bath

Location

At its junction with the A4 (Newbridge Road).

 

At its junction with Charmouth Road. 

 

At its junction with the A4 (Newbridge Road).

 

NOTICE is given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions on Lyme Gardens, Lyme Road, Charmouth Road and the A4 (Newbridge Road), Bath:-

 

  1. Revoke Resident Parking Bays and implement No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on Lyme Gardens at the junction of A4 (Newbridge Road) on each side of Lyme Gardens outside number 134 and 136 Newbridge Road and on Lyme Road at the junction with Charmouth Road on each side of Lyme Road outside numbers 8 and 9 Charmouth Road.

 

The order will come into operation on 16th July 2026. Full details of the proposal together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours. Any person who desires to question the validity of, or any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
