Learn traditional Morris dancing and enjoy dancing at summer events around the South and West of England.
Mr Wilkins’ Shilling is a mixed-gender Morris dancing team from Bath, Somerset, dancing in the North-West style wearing traditional wooden clogs which make a fantastic sound.
You’ll learn how to dance at your own pace and no special equipment is required for Thursday practices. You can either buy your own kit or borrow kit from the team stock at a reduced cost. Mr Wilkins’ Shilling is a friendly and welcoming group, encouraging dancing in the open air in the summer months.
Discovery Card holders receive:
The first season, (October to October), free of charge and a 15% discount on the membership fee for the second season.
2025 annual membership is £35.00 This offer is open to all genders but is
only available to adults and applies to both dancers and musicians.
Bring your Discovery Card to your first practice session and show it to the treasurer or secretary. Please email Sue at mws_morris@hotmail.com before your first attendance.
