The purpose of this document is to set out Bath & North East Somerset Council’s policy and procedure for the protection of property as prescribed by the Care Act 2014. It provides a framework that is to be adhered to by social care managers and social care practitioners, who in partnership with the Client Finance Team deputyship officers, are responsible for carrying out the protection of property as a delegated duty on the Council’s behalf.
