Ordinary Residence and Continuity of Care Policy

Bath & North East Somerset Council aims to conform with the requirements of the identification of the ordinary residence of people in need of community care services, and to adhere to relevant case law, in its procedures and practices for determining ordinary residence. The following policy will also be adhered to by organisations that are delegated to undertake statutory social care duties on behalf of Bath & North East Somerset Council.
