Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 for UK charities and voluntary organisations, including Community Interest Companies, that are delivering health and wellbeing projects within 15 miles of an Assura healthcare site.
Assura PLC is a specialist real estate investment trust working only on healthcare premises. It has over 570 GP surgery, primary care, diagnostic and treatment centre buildings around the United Kingdom.
The Assura Community Fund is designed to strengthen the capacity of charitable organisations working at a grassroots community level to deliver a range of health and wellbeing projects within 15 miles of an Assura healthcare building.

Grants from £1,000 to £5,000 are available for registered charities and voluntary organisations, particularly in the areas of:
• Helping people gain support for life challenges.
• Improving people's mental and emotional health and wellbeing, especially in the aftermath of COVID-19, and/or
• Providing increased activities and opportunities to help people learn new skills, to enable improved self-confidence, self-esteem and a strong sense of belonging.
Priority will be given to applicant that can evidence how their project will:
• Build strong working relationships with referral agencies, including GPs, other primary care/health professionals and NHS Link Workers.
• Demonstrate good practice and a clear rationale as to why the project activity would be successful and be able to record and demonstrate the impact of the activity.
• Demonstrate innovative approaches designed to respond to clearly defined needs, and/or
• Provide opportunities for beneficiaries to get involved in the planning, design, delivery and evaluation.
Grants can be used for activity or project costs, small capital items, staffing, volunteer expenses and transport costs.
