Grants are available to registered charities in the United Kingdom and the United States of America for activities that support domestic animals, conservation and wildlife organisations.
The policy of the Ruth Smart Foundation is to concentrate its grant-making upon charitable organisations which directly benefit domestic animals in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. However, the Trustees do not limit support to these two countries but are also interested in domestic animals, conservation and wildlife organisations throughout the world.
Further information on all of the above charities can be found using the ‘Find a charity’ function on the Charity Commission website.
Grants range from £1,000 to £20,000.
Please note that the Foundation does not have a website, nor does it advertise an email address. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
Applications may be made at any time in writing.
