The Company awards grants - usually for less than £10,000, to registered charities in the UK and/or overseas working in the fields of education, health and social welfare.
The Ralph Levy Charitable Company Limited is a family-based grant-making charity with its offices in London. The Company’s charitable objectives are “to apply any of the income, assets or property of the Company towards charitable purposes recognised by law, and to promote, support, assist and encourage the advancement of knowledge in the science of medicine”.
The Chair of the Company, Daniel Levy, has been actively involved in philanthropy for around 40 years and is currently the Chair of the Jewish Volunteering Network.
The Company’s current objectives are the promotion of education, welfare, medical and arts through making grants to appropriate institutions and charitable bodies.
