This is a newly launched awards scheme, provided by the Freelands Foundation, that is designed to champion and celebrate UK visual art organisations’ commitment to art education.
Every year, 3 winning organisations will each receive £100,000 for a recent or ongoing project demonstrating commitment to progressive art education approaches with a demonstrable impact.
To be eligible, organisations must be UK-based, have a charitable purpose and demonstrate programming that imagines, explores and connects people of all ages and from different contexts with art.
The deadline for applications is midday (12 noon) on Tuesday 24 March 2026.
