The Stanley Grundy Foundation makes between 25 and 30 grants each year of between £2,000 and £5,000 to UK registered charities.
Grants are generally targeted sums geared to specific projects or initiatives rather than supporting general expenditure.
Charities that advance education, relieve poverty, help disadvantaged children and medical charities tend to be prioritised for grant support.
The Foundation welcomes appeals from smaller specialised charities where these relatively small sums can make a real difference.
Charities wishing to apply for a grant from the Foundation are invited to do so by email for specific projects or a defined area of action. Applications for grants should be made by email and should include:
- The name and address of the applying charity
- Charity registration number, and
- The objectives of the organisation.
Requests for grant support are normally considered in April and October annually.
