Grants to Charitable organisations (including social enterprises, not-for-profit registered companies, co-operative or community benefit societies and voluntary organisations) with a turnover up to £500,000 in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland that are working on family support projects.
Funding is available as single year grants between £10,000 and £50,000 for core costs, salaries, running and project costs or multi-year grants for a maximum of 3 years, not to exceed £100,000 in total over this period, for core costs, salaries, running or project costs.
No more than £50k can be applied for in any given year.
Family support may include:
- Early intervention
- Families coping with addiction
- Prisoners' families
Your organisation’s postcode, or the project area, must be ranked within the most deprived 15% of the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) for urban areas or within the most deprived 50% for rural areas.
Their preference is for front line organisations working directly with families in need. They are unlikely to support campaigning, fundraising, organisational development or capacity building. They will consider projects which are a logical extension of existing work. They do not support work which represents a significant shift away from the existing core aims and track record of an organisation. Trustees will consider the additionality of grant funds to the financial situation of a charity.
