Grants, usually for £5,000 or less, are available to charities that are local to its office in Swindon, Wiltshire.
The Trust derives the bulk of its income from investments, which it then applies in making grants to other registered charities, hospital, schools and similar charitable institutions.
The Charity Commission for England and Wales lists the Trust’s main areas of interest as:
- General Charitable Purposes, and
- Arts/culture/heritage/science.
A wide range of local causes are supported including charities working in the field of healthcare.
