Small grants, generally for £4,000 or less, are available to UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas for general charitable purposes.
Formerly known as the Capsicum Re Foundation, London-based the Gallagher Re Foundation is the charitable arm of global reinsurance brokers Gallagher Re. The Foundation is a discretionary grant-maker whose objectives are simply to “provide grants to support the work, aims and objectives of other charities”.
The Foundation provides small grants, usually for under £4,000, to UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas. Most grants appear to be awarded to charities in England - particularly in the London area - working in the areas of support for children and young people, health, hospitals and hospices.
Please note that the Trust does not have a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
