Small grants, nominally up to £5,000 but more commonly for £1,000, are available to UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas in a range of fields, particularly those supporting children.
The Michael Cornish Charitable Trust supports UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas, albeit with a preference for funding children's charities and charities in Lincolnshire and Jersey in the Channel islands.
In the past the Trust has awarded grants to charities working in the following areas:
- Amateur Sport.
- Children and Young People.
- Community and Economic Development.
- People with a disability.
- The advancement of Health or Saving of Lives, and
- General Charitable Purposes.
Further information, guidance and details about how to apply is available on the Trust’s website. Please note that eligible organisations must register with the Trust prior to applying.
Applications are reviewed quarterly in March, June, September and December.
