The Brownlee Charitable Trust

Small grants for Christian and other charities in the UK and overseas in the areas of:

  • religion
  • poverty relief
  • education
  • citizenship and community development
  • the arts
  • culture, heritage and science
  • animal welfare
  • ambulance services

Examples of the types of project supported by the Trust may include (please note this is not an exclusive list):

  • To assist evangelical churches in their on-going ministry, including building projects.
  • The support of ministers and students preparing for the ministry
  • Supporting Christian and other charities in international relief work, and
  • Supporting charitable agencies in the care of the elderly and terminally ill.

The Trust aims to provide grants of approximately £200,000 per year.

Support of non-religious charitable works is to comprise no more than one-third of all grants made.

Applications may be made at any time in writing.
