The P F Charitable Trust

Small and larger grants are available to UK registered charities working to advance health, education, the arts, culture, heritage and science, and to support people facing significant disadvantage.

The P F Charitable Trust is a family-based grant-making charity operating out of London.  The Trust, which will be celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2026, was originally founded to make contributions to religious and educational bodies as well as other legal charities in the United Kingdom.

The Trust supports a wide variety of UK charitable causes.  The principal areas of support during the year ended 31 March 2024 were:

  • The advancement of health and the saving of lives.
  • The advancement of education.
  • The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, and
  • The advancement of the arts, culture, heritage and science.

However, the Trust supports a much broader range of causes with the vast majority of its grants for £20,000 or less.

The trustees do not anticipate any material change to the operation of the Trust in the long-term.

Please note that the Trust does not have a website.  Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.

Applications may be made at any time in writing.  Trustees usually meet monthly to consider applications and approve grants.
