Small and large grants are available to registered arts charities and institutions in the UK that are recognised as world leaders in their respective fields.
The Ruddock Foundation for the Arts is a family-based grant-making charity with a focus on supporting research, conservation and displays in museums, as well as supporting the work of non-commercial theatres. The vast majority of the Foundation’s grants are to institutions or charities that are world leaders in their respective fields.
The Foundation's grant-making policy Is to focus on three main areas:
• Institutions which look after and conserve paintings and works of art.
• Research projects with a focus on medieval art, and
• Theatre and playwriting.
The Trust meets twice each year to review applications and decide on grant awards.
Applications may be made at any time in writing.
