The Stan Vidler Memorial Charitable Trust

The Stan Vidler Memorial Charitable Trust (SVMCT) was founded in 2014 by Keren Vidler in memory of her father, a passionate supporter of charities, especially those which help disadvantaged young people to overcome their misfortunes and to realise their true potential.

The Trust’s objectives are:

  • To help children and young people, disadvantaged by disability or economic circumstances, to achieve their potential, especially children with a particular talent, and
  • To relieve financial hardship and poor health in older people.

The Trust awards generally small grants to registered charities.  Individuals may also be awarded a grant, particularly to help with learning (for example, to pay for equipment or tuition costs).

Being a small Trust, the trustees tend to prioritise grants to small, local charities or community groups where a grant is likely to have a significant, direct benefit on people in need.

Further details about the Trust are available on AV Trinity’s website and on the Charity Commission website.

The Trust does not have an application form or any application deadlines.  Please contact the Trust for further information about the prospect of grant support and how to apply.
