A limited number of grants are available to UK registered charities working overseas in the area of poverty relief and education and, occasionally, in the UK for charities working for the welfare and well-being of children, as well as the emergency services sector.
The Foundation prefers to support medium and small UK-based charities working in the UK and/or overseas. Although individuals can apply for grant support, in reality very few awards of this nature are made.
In the past, the Foundation has supported charities working in the areas of:
- Children and young people.
- Education.
- Emergency services.
- Housing and accommodation.
- Overseas aid and famine relief.
- Relief and prevention of poverty.
- Relief of sickness.
- Religion.
- The preservation of good health and the saving lives, and
- General charitable purposes.
Applications may be made at any time in writing.
