The Trust makes small grants to registered UK charities for projects worldwide that support children aged up to 18.
Increasingly, the Trust’s focus is on start-ups or bold new initiatives that might not have happened without the Trust's participation.
Organisations should meet the following criteria in order to be eligible to apply for a grant:
- They must be a registered UK (or UK affiliate) charity.
- Read and observe the guidelines in the ‘Mission Statement’ on the Trust’s website.
- The proposal must be concerned exclusively with children and their welfare.
- Send the Trust a brief, 2-page outline of what you do and what the project is. Remember the Trust is increasingly looking for start-up projects or new initiatives within an existing project, and
- Include a clear budget and, if possible, a recent set of your accounts.
Applications should be made by post only (emailed applications are not accepted).
Applicants that want a response should include a SAE. Applicants that have not provided a SAE and have not heard from the Trust after a reasonable period should assume that their application has been unsuccessful. An unsuccessful application does not preclude charities from making another application in the future.
