The Morrison's Foundation

Capital and project grants of up to £10,000 are available for local, regional and national registered charities in England, Scotland and Wales.

The Morrisons Foundation was established to provide financial support for registered charities in England, Scotland and Wales. It awards capital and project grants (but not grants towards a charity’s running costs) for specific community projects which improve people's lives and will match fund the money that Morrisons colleagues/employees raise for charity.

Registered charities applying to the Foundation should meet at least one of the following funding objectives:

  • Tackling poverty and social deprivation.
  • Enhancing community spaces, facilities and services, and
  • Improving health and wellbeing.

Local, regional and national charities may apply for a grant of up to £10,000.

Small charities (ie those with an annual income of less than £1 million) are prioritised, although charities with an income of over £1 million are not exempt from applying.

Applications may be made at any time via the online application form on the Foundation's website.

Please note that it can take the Foundation up to 12 weeks to make a decision on an application.  Unsuccessful applicants are restricted from reapplying for 12 months.
