Grants averaging £45,000 for small to medium sized UK registered charities carrying out social welfare activities.
The Hadley Trust supports UK registered charities carrying out projects that benefit communities and address poverty. In particular, the Trust aims to establish long-term relationships with supported charities in order to create opportunities for people who are disadvantaged as a result of environmental, educational or economic circumstances, or physical or other disability.
In recent years the Trust has become increasingly focused on some core areas of activity where it feels it is able to have the greatest impact. Consequently, the Trust has tended to establish more in-depth relationships with a smaller number of selected partners. The result of this policy is that the trust does not take on many new funding commitments. However, the Trust will always consider and respond to new proposals.
They do not have a website but further information is available on the Charity Commission website.
