A limited number of grants ranging from £1,000 to, generally, around £25,000 are available to registered charities in England and Wales for a wide range of charitable causes.
The Cayo Foundation is a discretionary grant-making charity with the flexibility to support a wide range of charitable causes in England and Wales.
In previous years, Foundation has supported registered charities working in the areas of children and young people, crime prevention, education, medical research and training, military history and the performing arts.
The Foundation also provides loans to registered charities in England and Wales.
Grant awards are variable. Although they have been for up to £125,000 in the past, generally they're between £1,000 and £25,000.
The trustees meet quarterly or, if necessary, on a more frequent basis to assess grant applications.
