Westfield Health’s Giving Back Committee seeks to fund causes that set out to make a healthy difference, including those that are:
- To people who are young and/or vulnerable
- To support preventative health and wellbeing initiatives
- To celebrate and promote a healthy life
- To try and tackle health inequality
Grants are usually around £3,000
Example impacts they are looking for include improved:
- wellbeing and quality of life
- access to health and wellbeing initiatives, especially in hard-to-reach populations and underfunded and marginalised communities
- quality of health and wellbeing resources
- attendance/take up of health and wellbeing initiatives
- social interactions/education of health and wellbeing initiatives
- community cohesion around health and wellbeing
They can donate to both charities and non-charities and there is no deadline - applications are reviewed monthly. Please note, they call their grants 'donations'.
They also donate defibrillators and work with the British Heart Foundation to ensure these are registered on The Circuit.
