One-off grants, generally up to £10,000, are available to registered charities in England and Wales for general charitable purposes. The arts, children and young people, hospices and hospitals are regularly supported by the Trust.
Grant applications are considered on a regular basis throughout the year while having regard to the Trust's aims and objectives, which are largely discretionary. The Trust has stated that it “continue to seek for grant making opportunities to fulfil the charity's objectives”
The Trust awards small grants, generally up to £10,000 augmented by the occasional higher award, to registered charities it has not previously supported in England and Wales.
The Trust’s grant-making suggests a preference for charities working in the following areas:
• Arts
• Children and young people.
• Hospices, and
• Hospitals.
Charities operating in the Greenwich area of London also appear to be favoured.
Applications may be made at any time in writing.
