The T S Eliot Foundation

Small and larger grants, sometimes for more than one year, are available to charitable organisations in the UK and the Republic of Ireland for activities that increase knowledge and appreciation of any matters of literary, musical, theatrical, historic, artistic, architectural or aesthetic interest.

The primary object of the T.S. Eliot Foundation is to increase knowledge and appreciation of any matters of literary, musical, theatrical, historic, artistic, architectural or aesthetic interest.  Its charitable objectives are:

•    To further the education of the general public, principally in relation to the works of T.S. Eliot and to promote art, culture and heritage, in particular poetry, in his name, and
•    To preserve and conserve for the public benefit an archive of poetry, manuscripts, and memorabilia relating to the life and work of TS Eliot.

However, the Foundation is not limited to these objectives and will consider all worthwhile causes carefully.  In the past it has provided grants to the Refugee Council, an Arts Colony and Foodbanks.

Applications may be made at any time in writing.
