The Trust generally provides small grants to UK registered charities in the UK and overseas. However, the Trust no longer accepts unsolicited applications, although it may be contacted via a letter of introduction.
Please note that the Trust has an Appointing Authority which nominates its chosen charities to the trustees on a bi-annual basis. These are then considered by the trustees, and donations are made accordingly. The trustees do not make donations in respect of unsolicited applications.
The Charity Commission for England and Wales lists the Trust’s areas of interest as:
- Children and Young People.
- Elderly/Older People.
- People with disabilities, and
- Other Charities or Voluntary Bodies
The Trust does not have a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
As the Trust no longer accepts unsolicited applications, the best way for organisations to make contact is likely to be through a letter of introduction. The probability of being added to the Trust’s grant-making portfolio is thought to be slight.
