A general grant-making charity that awards small, medium and large grants up to £100,000 to charitable institutions working in the UK and India. The Foundation has a preference for supporting organisations working in the areas of health and education. Grants are awarded to institutions and, occasionally, individuals.
The Foundation receives grant applications, which are reviewed by the administrator and then forwarded, as appropriate, for consideration by the Trustees. In addition, the Trustees themselves make proposals for grants which are then considered by the other Trustees. The Trustees make the final decision on which grants to make.
Please note that the Foundation does not have a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
The Trustees meet at least twice a year and regularly discuss proposals for grants and other administrative matters.
Applications may be made at any time in writing.
