The Gerald Palmer Eling Trust Company

Project grants, generally ranging from £1,000 to £25,000, are available to registered charities

The Trust’s preferred areas of grant-making are:

  • The advancement of the Christian religion and particularly the Greek and Russian Orthodox Churches.
  • Community or Education facilities and provision of support, and
  • Social and Welfare support and therapy.

Applicants should be an established charity whose work relates to activities in West Berkshire or neighbouring counties (ie Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Surrey).

Grants, which are awarded to established charities, tend to be for projects rather than for general running costs.  The Trust does not make awards to individuals or for overseas projects.

Applications should be made in writing, including a copy of the applying organisation’s most recent accounts.

Further information and guidance is available on the Trust’s website.  The Trustees meet three times each year to consider requests for grant support.
