Small grants, usually for between £100 and £500, are available to UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas in the areas of the arts, healthcare and medical research.
The Heather Beckwith Charitable Settlement is, in many respects, a more modest version of the John Beckwith Charitable Trust, although the former has a wider geographical scope with the ability to made grants to UK charities working in the UK and/or overseas. Heather Beckwith and Sir John Beckwith OBE are trustees of both charities, which can award small grants to registered charities working in the areas of:
• The Arts.
• Healthcare, and
• Medical research.
Awards indicate that a mixture of national and international causes are favoured by the charity.
Please note that the Charity does not maintain a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
Applications may be made at any time in writing.
The Board of the Heather Beckwith Charitable Settlement meet once each year to consider applications.
