Grants of up to £2,000 available to local groups to deliver projects or provide equipment to people in need at the heart of their local community.
All projects must support a community of interest, ie people who are:
• Disabled or suffering chronic illness
• Living in poverty
• Voluntary carers
• Homeless
• Isolated older people
• Other demonstrable significant need
Not-for-profit organisations in England, Wales and Scotland may apply for a grant. Approximately 1 in 4 applications are successful. Larger organisations with an annual turnover of £300,000 or over are unlikely to be supported
usually 2 deadlines per year.
