Grants between £500 and £5,000 for UK churches, chapels and other places of worship erected before 1896 for the conservation of decorative features and monuments.
Grants can be used smaller programmes of work for the conservation of decorative or non-structural features, for example:
• Furniture.
• Internal monuments and tombs.
• Sculpture.
• Stained glass windows, and
• Wall paintings.
Please note that completed work must be certified by an appropriate professional and carried out according to the principles of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB).
Annual deadlines of
31st March and 31st August
