Local Community Fund

Bristol Airport, which is located close to Junction 18 of the M5 at Lulsgate Bottom, on the northern slopes of the Mendip Hills, in North Somerset (postcode BS38 3DY) offers 2 grant schemes to mitigate the impact of the airport on local communities:

The Airport Environmental and Amenity Improvement Fund (AEAIF), also known as the Local Community Fund, provides grants of up to £8,000 for environmental projects in North Somerset (particularly for projects close to the airport), and

The Diamond Fund, which can support projects within a 6-mile radius of Bristol Airport that are not eligible for the Airport Environmental and Amenity Improvement Fund.

Applications should be made two weeks before the Committee meetings, which are on the following dates:

Monday 8 June
Monday 14 September
Monday 7 December
