This local trust awards grants to Somerset organisations for the "restoration, maintenance, preservation, repair and reconstruction, improvement, upkeep and beautification of churches chapels and churchyards in Somerset and of any fixtures or chattels in such churches, chapels or churchyards".
Grants up to £10,000 can be awarded but in practice grants are usually between £1,000 to £5,000 based on the amount of money available for distribution.
