This Trust will consider applications from the South West area of England, especially from Devon and Cornwall for:
- projects which help to improve the quality of local life and welfare
- art projects which help to improve the quality of local life
They also accept applications from individuals who are further educating themselves to improve their job prospects with a clear compassionate need.
Grants can be used for core running costs or project costs of small established organisations who have a proven record of making a significant difference. The Trust does not usually make grants to large UK wide charities, although it can make the rare exception when an individual project is in the geographical area.
The average grants are in the region of £550 for organisations, up to £1,000 for individuals under 18 and possibly up to £3,000 for individuals over 18 yrs of age.
The board of trustees meet three times a year, usually on the last Saturday of February, June and October.
A letter of application should be submitted one clear month prior to the meeting date.
