This fund, every three months, offers 5 small UK not-for-profit organisations the opportunity to receive a share of £10,000 for new projects and innovative ideas in the areas of community development/local communities, environment and people.
The programme, called 'Grants for Good', is open to brand new projects with innovative ideas and established charities whose average income is less than £50,000 each year.
Funding is available for UK charities, community and voluntary groups, social enterprises and individuals for projects in the areas of:
• Community development.
• Environment.
• Local communities, and
• People.
The £10,000 will be divided between 5 organisations that receive the most votes from employees of the logistics and travel company, the John Good Group, as follows:
• Organisations receiving the most votes will receive £3,500.
• Organisations receiving the 2nd most votes will receive £2,500.
• Organisations receiving the 3rd votes will receive £2,000, while
• 4th and 5th place will each receive £1,000.
