This Trust supports smaller charities to unlock change for people facing significant disadvantage.
Each year, they award grants across four categories:
Grant theme
The theme for the year ending 31 March 2025 is supporting charities which focus primarily on providing support and opportunities for deaf people. Grants up to a maximum of £40,000 are available to charities with a turnover of less than £5 million. They have £600,000 available to distribute. The deadline was 31 July 2024. We expect news of their latest theme soon.
Three Year Funding Programme
They welcome applications from charities offering safe accommodation as a direct response to homelessness or an immediate risk of homelessness. They have £300,000 per year from which to offer grants between £15,000 and £30,000 for three years. The deadline was 31 August 2024. We expect an update soon.
Disasters
They look to move swiftly in the event of natural disasters and offer support where they feel able to assist. Due to the unpredictability of such disasters, they don’t accept applications under this category. They have £150,000 available under this heading.
Smaller grants
Grants up to a maximum of £10,000 are available to charities with a turnover of less than £250,000. They aim to award these grants to charities who rely on volunteer support and make an impact in their communities. The deadline was 31 October 2024. We expect an update soon.
