This funder which delivers two Grant Programmes. One is for Individual Carers and the second is for Organisations that work to support Carers. They cover Bristol and communities within a 10 mile radius, which includes parts of Bath and North East Somerset.

Funding for Individuals
Grants up to £750 to carers for short respite breaks or other activities that provide a break from caring responsibilities. Applicants must live within a 10 mile radius of the centre of Bristol. A sponsor from a professional background must first be nominated to apply on the applicant’s behalf. This can be a social worker, support worker, housing officer or a healthcare professional etc.
Funding for Organisations
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for activities to provide carers with support, education and training. The bidding round for this opens in May annually. They refer to support small to medium size charities and charitable organisations which offer sustainable, measurable and effective support to carers of any age
