The Sir Jules Thorn Charitable Trust’s Ann Rylands Small Grants programme offers grants of up to £5,000 for small to medium sized registered charities across the UK that are working to provide support and services for:
• Older people.
• People facing challenges with mental health, social exclusion or homelessness.
• People needing palliative and end of life care, and
• People with disabilities or living with serious illness.
While the Jules Thorn Charitable Trust has been a constant supporter of hospices over the years, particularly through its Hospice Fund, it supports a much broader range of charitable causes through its Ann Rylands Small Donations programme.
Hospice Grants, including care at home services, tend to be for £5,000, while awards made through the Ann Rylands Small Donations programme are normally for up to £1,500. There is no specific requirement for matched funding.
