Use this page to learn about our Access, Advice and Information Team. This team is your first point of contact for adult social care. We’ll listen to you and help you get the support you need.

What We Do

  • Referrals: We take all requests for adult social care and make sure they go to the right team.
  • First chats: We talk with you to understand your needs and how we can help.
  • Advice: We give clear advice in ways that suit your needs.
  • Short-term help: If needed, we can arrange quick support to keep you safe and well.
  • Equipment: We check if tools or tech can help you stay independent.
  • Connections: We link you to other groups like the Community Wellbeing Hub for extra help.
  • Next steps: If you need more help long-term, we’ll pass your details to the right team. They’ll get in touch to plan a time to talk.
