The auditorium (Rooms A and B combined with raked seating)

You can book the Community Space to host your private or corporate event. Facilities include a large auditorium which can also be divided into two separate meeting rooms. 

Our facilities

Keynsham Community Space has an auditorium and rooms available for hire by private individuals, corporate clients, or community organisations. It also includes some catering facilities.

The Auditorium

If you book the Auditorium, you will enjoy the following facilities:

• Foldaway, tiered seating for up to 98 people (additional rows can be added in front to seat up to 140 people)
• Standalone chairs and tables to arrange to suit your event
• Public access Wi-Fi
• High definition LCD Canon installation projector and motorised tension projection screen (450cm x 280cm)
• Data point for laptops with HDMI, VGA, audio and display ports
• Audio tannoy system with handheld microphone and receiver 
• Blackout blinds to enhance visual displays
• Flipchart
• Infra-red hearing loop
• Microsoft Teams hybrid equipment

Rooms A and B

Both rooms A and B are equipped with the following:

• Large fixed Samsung LED 65' monitor
• Public access Wi-Fi
• Data point for laptops with HDMI, VGA, audio and display ports
• Audio tannoy system with handheld microphone and receiver 
• Blackout blinds to enhance visual displays
• Flipchart
• Infra-red hearing loop

General information

When booking any space, please note the following:

• There is lift and stair access to the Community Space
• There are toilets and accessible toilets
• The Facilities Management Team will set up the space as agreed with the hirer
• Printing facilities are not available
• The hirer must clear all rubbish from the site after the event, failure to do so will incur an additional charge

Catering

If you plan to cater at your event, please consider the following:

• The small kitchenette includes a sink, 'zip' tap for hot and cold water, dishwasher, microwave and fridge
• Crockery and cutlery are available to use but it is the hirer's responsibility to clean and put away after the event
• The venue is only suitable for cold buffet-style dining, including hot drinks
• Facilities for preparing or serving hot food are not available
• The hirer must clear all rubbish from the site after the event, failure to do so will incur an additional charge
• The space must be left as you found it
• The space is fully licensed
