You can get involved by attending events, volunteering, or becoming an Energy Champion to support your community in building a sustainable future.
Who can benefit
This project is for anyone who:
- is struggling with energy costs
- wants to improve their home’s insulation, heating, or energy efficiency
- needs guidance on available support and funding options
What we offer
We offer the following support and services:
- Impartial guidance - Learn how to improve efficiency, reduce bills, and enhance home health.
- Help finding grants and funding - Support for home improvements such as insulation and heating upgrades. You may be eligible for:
- Bright Green Homes Grant - fully-funded energy-saving upgrades for low-income households and low-income postcodes, including new heating systems, solar PV, and insulation upgrades.
- Affordable Warmth Grant - for low-income households needing heating repairs or insulation
- Home Energy Loans - low-interest loans for homeowners to fund energy-saving improvements
- Green Heritage Homes advice - if you live in a listed or historic building, Green Heritage Homes offers tailored retrofit guidance and support.
- Community events - Free talks and pop-ups to share energy-saving tips.
- Energy Champions programme - Get involved in your community, gain skills, and learn about energy efficiency.

- Call the Community Wellbeing Hub on 0300 247 0050 – Get local advice, referrals, and support, including energy-related help.
- Attend a drop-in session - Held on the first Thursday of each month, 11am to 2pm, Bath Central Library.
