Historic schools public notices
We have a statutory duty to publish notices when there are proposals to change our schools provision in any of the following ways:
- Closure of a school
- Opening of a new school
- Expansion of a school
- Amalgamation of two or more schools
- Open competition among education providers for the contract to run a school
These proposals will be followed by a public consultation on the full proposal, and there will be a public notification of our final decision.
The documents below are public notices regarding proposals, consultations and decisions about schools in the Bath and North East Somerset area. We publish records of all notices and public consultations online for a period of three years.
