The Stanley Smith (UK) Horticultural Trust
Grants averaging £3,000 are available to charities, charitable organisations and individuals in the UK to promote horticulture and horticulture education, conservation of the natural environment and making gardens accessible to the general public.
The objectives of the Stanley Smith (UK) Horticultural Trust are:
- To promote horticulture.
- To promote the conservation of the physical and natural environment by promoting biological diversity.
- To promote the creation, development, preservation and maintenance of gardens accessible to the public, and
- The advancement of horticultural education.
The Trust awards grants of up to £5,000. The average grant made is normally around £3,000.
The Trust operates two application deadlines each year, on 15 February and 15 August.
