A general grant-making charity that awards small grants to registered charities working (a) nationally, and (b) in Norfolk. In the past the Trust has shown a preference for supporting charities working with children and young people, the elderly and people with a disability.
The aim of the Trust is to address the root causes of problems rather than provide funding towards projects focussing on after care services such as counselling. Charities working to support children and young people, the elderly and people with disabilities are regularly provided with grant support.
Most grants are for £1,000 or £2,000 with the occasional higher award up to £10,000. A large number of grants made are repeat awards to the same portfolio of charities, suggesting that new applicants may find it difficult to secure grant support.
Please note that the Trust does not have a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
The Trust’s most recent accounts state that the Trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the immediate future.
Applications may be made at any time in writing.
